Lunar New Year
The children enjoyed learning about Lunar New Year earlier this month. To welcome in the year of the snake, youngsters put their cutting skills to the test, producing a collection of paper snakes. They also experimented with noodles and tasted prawn crackers.
World Book Day – 6 March
All children will receive a book token during the week commencing 3 March to celebrate World Book Day. We also welcome children to attend nursery dressed as their favourite book character at any point during the week.
Language support
The language Literacy Trust’s Words for Life website provides parents, children and young people with activities to improve their language, literacy and communication skills at home. Activities have been broken down into age brackets, making everything age and stage appropriate – from birth to 12 years. There are also useful support tools for tackling challenges, including baby weaning. Just click here
