The Nursery Manager writes…
If you have not already, please send in a new bottle of unopened sun cream with your child’s name on. Also, a wide brimmed hat or sun hat with neck protection, also labelled with child’s name, is essential. Please remember, it is important to label your all your child’s items. Waterproof name labels can be purchased from www.mynametags.com using our school ID 4188, which also helps us fundraise.

Extending funding hours
If you are claiming the extended funded hours for your 3/4-year-old, or the new working families funded hours for your under-3-year-old, please remember that the eligibility codes need to be renewed every three months. If you pay using TFC, please ensure you have set this up as a payment method via Famly. This makes things simpler for you and also saves a lot of administration time. You can also set it up as an automatic payment. The Famly app has a step-by-step guide, plus there is an article that goes into even more detail here
Tax-free childcare alongside funded hours
Did you know? You can use tax free childcare alongside your funded hours. Look now, as we give you a full rundown of how it works:

World Oral Health Day
To mark World Oral Health Day, staff prompted children to talk about cleaning their teeth. They then practised brushing a dinosaur’s teeth using toothbrushes and scraped shaving foam off pictures of teeth to reinforce the positive behaviour.
Saint Patrick’s Day
To honour Ireland’s Patron Saint, the Owls team filled some containers with bubbly green water before scattering some gold and green coins. The children then sorted the coins into different groups.
Easter treats
Earlier this month, some children participated in an Easter Egg Hunt and enjoyed hot cross buns as a snack.
