January Newsletter 25

The Nursery Manager writes…

Happy new year from me and all the staff here at Highwood Nursery. It has been a chilly start to 2025, so thank you for sending your child to nursery in warm clothes. This is important because it enables outdoor play. Importantly, if you have any family holidays booked for 2025, please let us know the dates as soon as possible in order to assist our planning.

Childcare funding
Childcare funding entitlements will expand in September to include 30 hours (22 stretched) for all children during the term after they turn nine-months-old.

Author visit
Romsey children’s author Anthony Landsdowne will visit us in February to read his new book – Charlie McGhee and the Mischievous Pea.
