Appropriate additional winter clothing is likely to include waterproofs, wellies, a warm hat and some spare clothes.

Starting school September 2025
If your child was born between 1 Sept 2020 and 31 Aug 2021, they will be eligible to start school in September 2025. The application process opens on 1 November 2024, with a deadline of 15 January 2025. It is a good idea to keep an eye out for open days at your local schools, which may be bookable events. We will hand out any open day information we receive or add it to your Famly newsfeed. Meanwhile, you can find more information on starting school from the Local Education Authority by clicking here
Fire engine visit
Children enjoyed a visit by local firefighters recently. They learned all about the fire engine, including details about its equipment. They also enjoyed a story about fire engines.
Autumn activities
Squirrels and Owls went for a walk to collect leaves. They then used them to create autumn wreaths, while talking about the texture and colours of the leaves. They were also encouraged to perfect their motor skills by using tweezers to perform pincer grasps.
